ZAP FAQ's
What if my competitors click on my ads?
The search engines have rigorous systems in place to prevent what is known as "click fraud". They monitor the IP addresses of visitors, and sophisticated software looks for any potentially fraudulent activity, as well as unusual "surges" in traffic. These visitors are then discarded from your campaign, so that you are not charged for them.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No, there is no contract. We'd rather you stayed loyal because you like the service your getting, rather than because you're "tied-in" to a contract. We do however, require a deposit in advance (fully refundable once the account is settled), and for you to sign our terms and conditions to ensure you've read them.
Do you ever refuse to promote a particular website?
Yes, we sometimes decline to take on a client. It may be that we feel their website is not good enough, and we wouldn't want to waste their money (we can usually advise on improvements they could make). It may be that the site promotes products, services or views which are either illegal or considered immoral. Also, there are some products which we are not allowed to advertise on the internet (prescription drugs, alcohol…). Finally, we won't take on a client who is in direct competition with one of our existing customers, unless both parties are in agreement.
How Much Does the Service Cost?
Our standard management fee is 20% of the value of the clicks (subject to £50 per month minimum). However, if you have a budget in excess of £5000 per month we recommend you contact us to discuss a possible discount. The only other costs are the initial set-up fees (£25 per search engine network, added to your first monthly invoice), and a tracking fee of £30 per month if ROI tracking is required.
